Read what two of our customers have to say about BK's
In April of this year,2009 I was looking to purchase a new computer since my old computer died and was in the shop at BK’s Computing. Brian told me that his assessment was that the cost of repairs were more than the computer was worth. I found that BK’s sells new computers as well as doing repairs. With some questioning about my computer habits, Brian steered me in the direction of a prebuilt computer. He said that custom built systems tend to cost more and would be more than I would need. Brian then told me to check prices at other stores, (like Staples, Wal-Mart, etc.) because sometimes these stores will have a better price than him. He also told me to look for an Acer brand, gave me some pricing, and said to call if I had any other questions about the computers I was looking at. I was amazed at his honesty and that he would send me to his competition.
My quest began by walking into Staples and asking their computer salesman to see an Acer desktop computer. The gentleman told me that,“Acer has never made a desktop computer,” and said,“Acer only just began to make laptops.” Then he told me that I should not trust whoever told me that Acer made desktops. I then began to think Brian had lied to me because this salesman seemed like he knew what he was doing and talking about. Then,he tried to sell me an HP desktop computer. I told him I wanted to think about it and get back to him tomorrow. The next morning, I went back to BK's Computing to ask Brian why he had lied to me. So,I walk in and Brian smiles, says good morning, and asks me if I have found a computer yet. My first words to him were,"Why Did You Lie To Me?” He looked puzzled and said, “what?” I explained the conversation from Staples and Brian went to his computer, went to Acer's website and showed me the many Acer desktop computers they offer. Then Brian gave me a price on an Acer desktop comparable to the other and it was $60.00 cheaper than the competition. I apologized for calling him a liar, and was forgiven I once again returned to Staples to restore Brian’s good name.
I now tell all of my friends about BK's Computing; about the knowledge, support, and service they provide.
Thanks so much for the great machine and new friendships.

Well my first experience with Brian & Kim was a few months back. I made the mistake of purchasing a so-called “NEW” computer from another store. This store told me that this computer would be custom built and would be NEW. After having the computer only one month,it would no longer come on. I brought the computer back to the store where I purchased to have it checked out. After two weeks, they finally told me that they thought the power supply was bad and that the part was not covered under warranty. After leaving upset with my now dead computer,I brought it to BK’s Computing. Kim was so helpful and told me they would have it on the bench by the next day. True to their word, Brian called me the next afternoon with a question and a diagnosis. He asked me if my computer was in fact new as the work order had indicated. I told him that it is new and questioned why he was asking. This is where it gets good, written on all four sides of the power supply with a sharpie marker was “EMachine Good”. In fact the power supply was bad, but that meant my new computer was made with a USED part. Brian then began to look over the rest of my computer components while I was on the phone. He found that my hard drive was manufactured six years prior, the memory and modem were pulled parts from a Compaq; again, used. Finally,Brian notices one last thing, that the Windows sticker on the side of my case had a Dell label on it. Brian explained to me that this sticker is only for Dell computers. That would mean the store also sold me an illegal copy of Windows installed on this machine. Brian asked if I had noticed a star in the bottom corner by my clock, stating I may be a victim of software piracy. I told him I had been ignoring it, knowing I had just purchased the computer. He explained to me that I was getting this notice because Microsoft has noticed that my copy of Windows was illegal.
I have now called the Attorney General’s Office and have also contacted Microsoft. I just want to thank you,Brian and Kim,for being so honest and helpful. I know that my next computer purchase will be built by, none other than BK’s Computing, and I can be assured that it will be NEW.
Thanks
